HawkflightHawkflight wandered out through the Saelie Woods, just slowly walking along a small path, enjoying the sights. He'd woken up from a nap not to long ago and decided to go for a walk and see if he could catch a few mice or squirrels while he was out to drop into the fresh-kill pile. His ears twitched every so often as he took in the sounds around him. The sound of the forest was so calming. It never failed to give him a good feeling. He didn't fully believe in the stories about cats who don't go to StarClan roaming around the forest, but a part of him still gave in to suspicion. Looking over to his right he sniffed the air, but he couldn't smell any prey for the time being. If he actually looked he could find some mice easy, but for now he was just out to enjoy the scenery. He'd been going for walks around the Wood's alot lately, since nothing was really happening around the camp. Of course that was better than something going from, but he still managed to get bored and these walks entertained him.

Poppy ☾The tabby she-cat bounded through the forest, ears pricked as she persued a shrew through the underbrush. She didn't quite try to catch the tiny rodent, just lazily following it until it disapeared into its burrow at the base of a tree. Poppy flicked her ears dismissively, turning away with a wave of her tail.
☾The young loner was quite aware of the fact she was on one of the Clan's territories. The borders reeked with their scent. But like simple smells would stop Poppy from going anywhere. Poppy parted her jaws and let the scents filter into her mouth, raising her head to peer over the undergrowth as she scented a tom near by; probably from the whats-its-face-Clan. She closed her mouth with a smirk, dropping low and stalking quietly through the brush, pausing every few minutes to listen. Soon, she spotted the tom as he strolled on a narrow trail, and he didn't seem busy. Good, then he would have time for company.
☾The she-cat crouched just in the cover on the edge of the trail, shifting her shoulders and twitching her tail impaitently. She waited until the cat was close enough, before pouncing out of the brush and onto the tom, yowling, "SNEAK ATTACK!" Poppy nipped him lightly on the ear before jumping off him, turning to the side to face him with a laugh. "Hiya there, Clannie."

HawkflightThe last thing Hawkflight heard before feeling something leap on top of him was the voice of a cat who wasn't in EbonyClan. His eyes widened slightly and he rolled over quickly, hopping back to his feet. The ear she nipped twitched slightly and he stared at the she-cat with a both curious and slightly annoyed look. Both her actions and her words let him know she wasn't there to cause trouble, but simply play around, but regardless of her reason loner's weren't normally aloud within Clan territories. "And who might you be?" Hawkflight asked with a small tilt of his head. He wasn't going to jump to anger so quickly, although he was alittle annoyed by the fact she was a loner, who wasn't supposed to be there, instead of one of the clan's apprentices. That being the case he still couldn't stay annoyed for long. This was because of her rather playful attitude and the fact her showing up was going to entertain him. Looks like he couldn't complain about the forest having nothing interesting to do now.

Poppy ☾The she-cat looked at the tom curiously, tail tip twitching. "What, you're not gonna chase me off, Clannie? That's not fun. " Poppy mocked a frown, but couldn't hold it for long before her grin returned again.
☾She twitched her ears, sitting down on the path and wrapping her tail around her paws. "M'name's Poppy," she replied,"and don't wear it out." The she-cat laughed, quivering her whiskers. She studied the Clan-cat curiously. "So, Clannie, who are you?" Poppy took a brief look around at the trees, suddenly wondering if any of his Clan buddies would show up and start bitching at her for being so deep in their territory. And then, obviously, they would chase her out. But she could always sneak back in.

HawkflightHawkflight sat back and let his tail wrap partially around him. She was in interesting loner that was for sure. "Not yet atleast. You don't seem to be any harm for now." He told her with a tilt of his head. Poppy... That was different, well to him atleast. She was probably going to think his name was weird as well, but they did come from two totally different backgrounds. "I'm Hawkflight, it's nice to meet you, Poppy. Even if you are trespassing." The tabby tom-cat smiled slightly when he spoke. He wasn't lying when he said it was nice to meet her. She was more entertaining that most of the people he'd talked to lately so she was definitely more fun to be around. Hopefully no one else showed up or he met find himself in a tad bit of trouble. That's the last thing he needed.

Poppy ☾ Poppy flicked her ears, smirking. "Of course its nice to meet me, why wouldn't it be?" she said, standing up and stretching luxioriously, flexing her claws. The tabby she-cat shook her head, waving her tail dismissively. "Anyway, nice to meet you too, Hawkflight. Are all your names complex like that? Its stupid to me. 'Hawk' would be a lot easier, if you ask me."
☾Poppy tilted her head, thinking. "Eh, I'd rather call you Hawk. Sooooo, Hawkie, you don't mind that I'm shouldering in on your turf, huh?" The she-cat continued grinning, laying down onto her side, rubbing the side of her head on the brush, purring in amuesment as she gazed at the tom with her yellow irises.

HawkflightHawkflight watched as she stretched and showed her lack of Humility. It was clear this she-cat was quite caught up in herself. Even so, she was pretty easy to talk to, but when she commented on his name the tip of his tail twitched in annoyance and he couldn't hold his tongue this time. "Well no one is asking you. Our 'complicated names' are signs of our honor, but you wouldn't know anything about that!" After a moment he realized that was probably the reaction she was trying to get and he sighed, licking the ruffled fur on his chest.
He didn't pause long enough to allow Poppy to speak, but continued to answer her next question. "You don't smell like you've eaten any prey recently, which means you haven't been hunting food on our territory." 'You've been too busy hunting me.' He thought to himself, his ear twitching with amusement, before continuing. "So I don't see a reason to chase you away, yet." Now he had finished speaking and raised his nose to the air for a moment, opening his mouth slightly to check for his clanmates scents. For now he smelled nothing, which meant he still had some time to visit with this she-cat before he had to return to camp.

D -A-I-S-Y-P-A-W -sailing away someday ``I am starvvvving. Daisypaw trotted down practically nonexistent path that she always used to find the best herbs in the forest. No one knew about this particular spot, not even her mentor. She was being a bit selfish, keeping it to herself, but no one was sick, and besides, her mentor was better at sniffing out herbs anyway, and could find them in half the time it took for Daisypaw to even walk to the path, which was deep in an eerie part of the usually perky woods. She skipped along, picking out her needed herbs, using her nose to avoid the deathberries in a nearby bush. Her sensitive ears picked up the sound of a mouse scurrying along the ground, but with her mouth packed full of the bitter medication, there was no chance of grabbing it. She was moving stealthily and almost missed the sound of voices....almost.Her ears perked up and she stopped right in her path. Oh. Mouse. Dung. Someone had found her spot...And they... No, no, no, no, no. Just locate them...they're probably on the main path...you're almost out anyway. Creeping forward at a stalking panther's speed, she carefully sniffed out the cats, and listened to the idle chattering. She heard a clancat....and then a very, very unfamiliar voice. And Daisypaw never heard unfamiliar voices. Her eyes went wide, and she sidled down just within earshot to listen. She tried to ignore the mouse, which she could swear was taunting her, and cocked her head, completely immersed in listening.

Poppy ☾Poppy flicked her ears, purring louder as the tom snapped at her for insulting their names. She smirked as he realized what she was playing at, and charged on with answering her other question without letting her say a word. She rolled her eyes, tail flicking across the forest floor as she sat up again, strolling over to the tom, putting on a face of sarcastic sadness. "Oh, are you mad at me? I'm sorry, Hawkie. Will you forgive me?"
☾Poppy grinned, before sniffing the breeze that stirred her whiskers, the scent of mouse. "Here, I'll grab you a mouse and let you kill it, so you can bring it back to your Clannies. " Without waiting for an answer, the tabby padded off quietly into the brush, carefully picking up her feet and pricking her ears as she tracked the scent of mouse that seemed pretty close. She paused in mid-step, peering over the ferns, before pouncing onto the mouse and pinning it to the forest floor under her paw, claws unseathed and flexing. Poppy smirked, waving her tail and sitting up, yowling, "Caught it!" Her yellow eyes shifted back, and spotted the young cat hiding. She tilted her head. "I found a kitten!" she announced, grinning.

HawkflightHawkflight was tempted to reply to the she-cat, but held his tongue and decided it be better to just stay silent. He shook his head as she turned to go catch him a mouse. Did she think he wasn't capable of getting one for himself? Regardless of the reason he was pretty impressed with her hunting skills. Although he really shouldn't be that surprised since she had to survive somehow if she was a loner. He padded off behind her slowly and hopped out into the open once she called out that she had the mouse. Before she mentioned anything about the other cat he, with a swift blow, ended the frightened mouses' life.
Now he looked up and he immediately recognized the tortoiseshell pelt of the Clan's medicine cat apprentice. His eyes grew wide for a moment before he shook the surprise from himself and he tilted his head as he spoke. "Daisypaw, what are you doing out here?" His tone was calm, not displaying the fact he was abit unnerved by the fact another cat had saw him talking to a loner. Although he really wasn't doing anything that could harm the clan, no one would have to know about this anyway.

D -A-I-S-Y-P-A-W -sailing away someday Daisypaw was having a great time listening and was already plotting for future blackmail on the tom when the loner caught her. She hadn't even given her a chance to hide. She'd just pounced, like a crazy maniac. Well...she was blaming it on the stupid mouse. Prey was only good dead. Daisypaw sighed and squished up her nose. Loner. Jinglepaw would tell her not to think that way, that she was being unreasonable, but what did he know, anyway? "I," She emphasized, dropping the herbs, which were making her mutter, "Am getting herbs, because that's what I do. I use them for sick kitties. You, on the other hand, seem to be chatting up a loner. She's not even supposed to be here, and on top of that, you almost let her hunt on our land. You've got explaining to do." It wasn't exactly that Daisypaw was disrespectful towards warriors, it was simply that she wanted him to start to worry, and not notice her hiding spot. She gazed with fake balefulness towards him.

Poppy ☾ Poppy twitched her whiskers at the she-cat, slightly annoyed. She had to ruin the fun, didn't she? "Almost is the key word, darling. He almost let me, but he didn't. I don't see whats the problem." The tabby shrugged her shoulders lightly, tail waving and lashing as she looked at Hawkie.
☾ Poppy stood there for several moments, before turning and simply walking away, moving off onto the trail and padding away, calling over her shoulder, "Obviously your Clannie-mates are too conceded to chat with anyone outside of your little group, here, Hawkie. I'm going to find something better to do, ta-ta!"
