Desired Warrior Name: N/A
Gender: Male
Clan: Street Cats
Rank: Youth
Appearance:
A tall, short haired tom of average build, Troutpaw is a pale tabby with oaky fur and blurry stripes the color of elm. His nose is a pale pink and his eyes, which seem to be frozen in a perpetually surprised expression, are a pale lilypad green. His tail, paw, and muzzle are all white, and random dollops of ivory are scattered across the rest of his pelt as if he had been splattered with paint.Personality:
Troutpaw is a quiet tom who at first comes off as shy: the opposite is true. He enjoys socializing, and can occasionally be caught throwing his opinion in, but he would much rather listen to others talk than ramble on himself: he gets nervous when talking to more than one cat (or a particularly pretty she-cat) and is known to stutter in such a situation. He's very observational and can notice a slight, crucial detail in a scene that others might not pick up on; he's also got quite the intuition and will follow it, even if he isn't sure what it's telling him.History:
Troutpaw is very empathetic and sensitive to the emotions and views of others, and, unless necessary, will rarely broach a topic that will makes those around him uncomfortable.
[you may add more.]
Troutpaw was born in EbonyClan, to the queen Yellowfeather, with his siblings Crowkit (his sister) and Falconkit (his brother). His kithood was the usual - endless, meaningless days of playing, being obnoxious, and teasing. When he became an apprentice, Yellowfeather disappeared and was presumed dead. Crowpaw had only half a season of apprenticeship before she fell ill with greencough, along with his father Sparrowclaw. Troutpaw and Falconpaw trained harder than ever, as if they thought they could fight the illness with claws instead of herbs.Other:
Crowpaw and Sparrowclaw perished quickly. At least they didn't suffer.
Instead of bringing the two brothers together, it just pushed them even farther apart. Falconpaw pulled up his defenses; he wasn't always quite as bratty as he was now. Troutpaw became even quieter; he'd never been a very talkative apprentice to start with, and now he hardly uttered a word.
In a clash with IvoryClan over territory, Troutpaw seriously injured a smaller apprentice - while they would eventually he recover, he had no way of knowing this and found himself seriously perturbed by this... cycle of fighting. He fled EbonyClan, hoping to find an alternative - and, perhaps, his mother.
He took to the city, struggling to survive amongst unfamiliar city streets until he did find his mother. Yellowfeather welcomed her son with open paws, showing him her new life: she was now an apprentice to a healer in a 'clan' of ferals, sharing her useful-if-limited knowledge with the street cats and learning just as much.
Troutpaw enjoyed this alternative; while this life was more tenuous, unstable, and dangerous, it also meant peace.
In winter, Yellowfeather became ill with greencough; the healers had already used up what little catnip they had on ill kits, and the only patches that might still flourish were in EbonyClan territory. Finally, Troutpaw decided to trespass and steal enough to make his mother well - but when he returned with the medicine, she was already gone.
To adopt him, please write a brief roleplay sample or give me a link to a post that you've done in the past.
